VR driving simulator training

The development of new technologies has allowed us to introduce virtual reality to the aerial platform training sector. Our VR lift driving simulator course is designed for certified operators who want to improve their machine handling skills and increase precision and efficiency in everyday work.

The VR simulator is also ideal for those who hold valid licenses but haven’t operated aerial work platforms regularly in recent years. The controlled environment enables operators to complete training scenarios without any safety risks or financial consequences.

How is the VR training conducted?

Our simulator is fully mobile – we can bring the equipment directly to your location and carry out a full-day training on-site. Alternatively, you can send selected employees to one of our Boels depots. Our training department representative will work with you to find a solution tailored to your company’s needs.

We arrive with a dedicated vehicle and trailer equipped with all necessary gear, including screens for external preview of the operator’s movements and surroundings in real time.

The simulator includes:

• a realistic operator basket,
• a VR headset,
• and a control panel.

This setup helps boost safety, especially for new operators, while minimizing the risk of expensive damages during real-world operations.
