Forklift operator certification

What should you know before taking the forklift course?

To take part in the training, the following documents are required:

• A medical certificate confirming fitness to operate lift trucks,
• A valid ID,
• A non-UDT qualification certificate (only for shortened training, where the participant is exempt from the full course and only needs to complete the theoretical part).

What does the forklift course include?

The full forklift training course consists of two parts:

• Theoretical part, which includes lectures and tests (available in a convenient online format as well), featuring sample exam questions,
• Practical part, during which the participant learns to operate a forklift in a real-world setting.

After completing the training, the participant takes the final exam in front of a UDT (Urząd Dozoru Technicznego) commission. An operator who successfully completes both the theoretical and practical exams receives a forklift operator license, issued by the UDT.
